On Sunday I visited the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich to watch the Archery & Shooting events at the Paralympics 2012.
The atmosphere within the venue, after the customary airport-style security checks, was great. The volunteer 'Games' Makers' were excellent and really did well to keep everything moving and running smoothly. Well done them!
I took all of these pictures from the day with my iPhone camera, I'm pleasantly surprised how well for such a small device, the iPhone can perform. As usual, all the decent pictures are uploaded onto Flickr.
I'll also be attending the ExCel events this Saturday, so more pictures to come!

Olympic Torch Relay 2012
This morning, the Olympic Torch came past the end of my road. That's quite convenient, meaning that I didn't have to walk miles to witness the occasion.
I also got a few pictures on my phone that I'd like to share with you. People's heads and hands were the main feature as well as the torch.

Bar Italia SC Kickstart Rideout 2012 Event
I went with the family to the Old Royal Navel College, Greenwich to the Bar Italia SC Kickstart Rideout 2012 event - lots of Vespa Scooters had made their way from the London Eye to the Naval College, then they parked up so that visitors could come and have a look. This was a great excuse for me to get my camera out. Here's a selection, the rest will be on Flickr tomorrow.
I was surprised to see a Routemaster - this links in with my trip to Acton recently! |
Have a great evening - there's lots on the box tonight!

London Transport Museum Depot, Acton
Yesterday I visited the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton on the Family Open Weekend. It was a really good event!
I really enjoyed my visit - seeing lots of historical trains, buses, signage and merchandise amongst other things. I also got a ride on a RM1 Routemaster! Here's a few of my snaps, they are all available in my Flickr set.
Have a great week,

Sweden 2011
I don't think I ever shared with you my Sweden snaps even though I thought I did! This was a Scouting trip that I went on to visit my local group of Scouts camping at the 22nd World Scout Jamboree. There are lots of rules and regulations about photographs in Scouts so that's way the majority of my snaps are not here, as they feature 'Scouts', however these I'm pleased with as it gives me something to look back at in the future. They are all in a set on Flickr if you want a closer look.
By far one of my best pictures to date! |
Cheeky editing on this one. |
